This seems to be a problem with SMF in general. Even when the server-side time changes, the forum may still insist on it's own time Wink
The "solution" to reset the global time-offset wouldn't be a viable option here...

Yes, it is. The server time is correct. SMF uses UTC internally, and the time zone adjusttment is actually a setting in your personal profile. Go to "PROFILE", then "Look and Layout Preferences", and then edit the Field "Time Offset" to make the displayed time match to your local time again.

Yes, this means, no automatic adjustment to daylight savings time. Stupid software.

It is important to note however, "German Summer Time" is a bit of a misnomer.  No one has experienced anything that could be considered "Summer" during this period.  The climate is not unlike San Francisco, of which Mark Twain said:  "The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco".

*chuckles* Yeah, you could be right with that. One should stick to the usual "daylight saving", at least that doesn't lie about the temperature.^^

In germany it's called "Winter und Sommerzeit" which would translate to winter and summertime.
Daylight saving time would be translated to "Tageslichtsparzeit" the other way round.
That would be as funny in german as summertime in english. Tongue

Actually, the word 'summertime' is used in this context as well. For example the current time zone in Britain is called BST - British Summer Time, and in Europe it is Central European Summer Time.
