... a few questions: Smiley

1. Is there any special event on early arrival?
2. Is early arrival/late departure an option only if we book all the days of the con at the main hotel?
3. If we have external accommodation, can we still attend the event(s) of the late departure (early arrival too?), e.g. dead dog party?

1. Is there any special event on early arrival?

No. All the staff is busy setting up the convention.

2. Is early arrival/late departure an option only if we book all the days of the con at the main hotel?

Yes, as it's a package deal. You can only book early / late arrival if you have selected a room package.

3. If we have external accommodation, can we still attend the event(s) of the late departure (early arrival too?), e.g. dead dog party?

As said above there are no events on the early arrival day. On the departure day we usually have a dead dog party, in previous years that was open to all who wanted to attend, although room capacity may limit the number of attendees.

The Dead dog party is usually open to all EF attendees and is the very last official event of the con.

Early Arrival and Late Departure are add-ons to the main Con Hotel package. Standalone- or cross-booking with other hotels is not possible.

If you have a room at the con hotel you can add late departure to extend your stay one more night to sleep of the party.
You can do this before the con via the online registration system, this will give you a pretty good chance to get and even stay in the same room you booked for the con.
Or you can do this at the hotel front desk during the con, but this can turn out that they have no more free rooms for that night or that you have to move to another room.

If you don't have a room at the main con hotel, you have to make you're own arrangements with the place where you stay.

Both late and early options are lots of fun if you can afford them.
Gives you more time for socializing as many furs take them.
Since I'm coming from a far I see no reason why not extending a vacation by few days.
