Bus trip from Berlin TEGEL airport to Magdeburg

Its that time again, I'm gathering names who would be interested on my bus trip straight from Berlin main airport to Magdeburg near/next to hotel and back.
Bus can hold up to 30-40 people but if its filled to top it might get snuggly
Aim is to get atleast over 25 people like previous years so it will be much cheaper than other transport options.

- the bus rental is earlierst 2 months before the convention so you have plenty of time to think! n_n
- Bus from airport to hotel 31th of august (the early arrival day)
- Bus from hotel to airport 6th of september (the late departure day)
- We are departing the airport earlier this year, meaning bus leaves to hotel around 1 or 2 pm (13:00-14:00) local time
- More we get, the cheaper it will cost, price is divided by all passengers
- There was minibar in the buss 1-2 euros wine or beer or something last year, not sure this year but I can check it
- It has WC most probably also
- Bus probably can fit 35-40 depending the luggage each one has.
- One stop and go ride
- Payment when we leave airport (have small cash with you, no plastic/cards)
- easy way to the convention ^^ with other furries too!
- cheaper than taxi/train or car


Berlin Tegel airport abbreviation is (TXL)
Book the morning/early flight to 31.8.2010 and if you are planing to leave with the bus trip too book the evening flight back home 6.9.2010
Bus is leaving 13:00 - 14:00 german local time so NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO BE 12:00 local time at airport latest, so be in time :3

Leipzig/Halle Airport Might be cheapest from here, and its also a little bit closer to the convention site.


hmm Edit: seems like there is no straight planes to Leipzig from here

Frankly speaking, we'd prefer Berlin, as there are a lot of (quite cheap) flights there ^^

Ye it might turn out that we are heading there aswell, we are checking the flights (even there is no possibility to book them long before now yet )

Hmmmm? I can buy the tickets (from airberlin website, for example) for beforementioned dates right now   o.o   So, the faster the airport'll be decided, the cheaper the tickets will be (as always with flight tickets)...

If you happen to choose Berlin as your departure point, I may be interested. I won't be flying to Berlin but I will most likely be going through Berlin one way or another. If I don't find any other (and of course cheaper) way to Magdeburg, I will have to use train connections and one way train ticket from Berlin to Magdeburg costs 19€. In that case I will be considering joining you in the bus. Have you calculated approximate cost of such travel including payment for the parking in Magdeburg (price for 25 furs would be good as it's the highest since it will be cheaper if more come)?

We will most probably depart from berlin.
If we get 29 peopple it will be under 19euros per passenger.
