EF13 Theme Suggestions

Oh, I thought I might chime in here .. :)
The theme for EF13 is far from decided yet, we'll also make it a little bit dependent on which kind of location we will get .. which is also undecided yet.
However, we've of course also had our discussions among the staff, and so far "Pirates" is the suggestion we like the least ... because it's such a fad right now. If it weren't for Johnny Depp's sexy ass, nobody would be interested in Pirates :)
And there are so many themes that have a much closer connection to the number "13", and that haven't been done to death ...
My personal favourite is actually the Casino theme :) That's also a theme that can be done with not too much effort. We're going to be just a tad tight on money next year ...

Johnny Depp has a sexy donkey :o ;D ;) Cool! I LIKE donkeys :D
But seriously - I like the Inquisition theme a lot more than the casino one, though it's certainly more effort to make that up good. Casino will be much easier to handle though, especially when the next ef won't be in a castle anymore, but in a conference center, etc. There, 'Inquisition' just wouldn't fit.
But after a little bit of browsing, still I have no additional ideas, I'm afraid. :-[ - But I'm sure you'll again come up with sth nice :)

we should avoid glorifying the darkes moments in human history.
there is nothing funny about religious slaughter or nazi terror.

There's nothing funny about murder, either, yet we did have a murder mystery theme this year. :) Come on, lighten up a bit. (And it's not like anyone actually suggested a nazi theme, anyway, so... remember Godwin. ;) )

One thing... You are all trying to play up the fact its the 13th EF. Why not play it down. Though I cannot give an idea at the moment.
