There is one way that it might be able to happen this year...My group's DM introduced me to "pickup campagns" Basically, they're short, 2-3 hour sessions with some weird enemy (Past examples: Banjo the Dire Clown and Micheal Jackson XD) Another aspect of pickup games is the fact that the player characters are also usually just as wierd (My own was an awakened leopard ninja that held a katana in his mouth, while one of my friends played a half-orc barbarian/bard/poot master XD) The stats can be a little unrealistic, too, but that's actually normal. (My leopard had a 24 in dexterity and a 23 in wisdom, if I remember right) In short, they give you a lot of room to mess around with things.
They're a lot of fun, expecially if you have a good DM and good roleplayers ^_^

I was thinking more the typical gaming cons pregen'd adventures. GM has characters and scenario set up in advance, and gets everything rolling.
I'm not much of a GM myself, which is a shame, but I'd love to play if someone else is willing to run!

I'd offer to DM, but that would just end up being a huge mess. Last time I GMed anything, it was a World of Darkness game that went to crap after three sessions XD

I'd be game. I'm always interested in learning new systems besides d20 ^_^ That, and the fact that I love table top RPGs

I'm GM at the old World of Darkness : Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse and Mage the Ascension
Though as many others, I prefer playing than GMing {:3}
