In the streets next to the biggest train station of the city, that's highly unrealistic that there will be space left for at least 200 cars (estimate done seeing last year's parking at the hotel)... really...
(Magdeburg being the capital city of Sachsen-anhalt, and also a popular spot to go to by train to Hannover and Berlin... it's an awfully busy train station)
I wouldn't count on it .....

It's a city of 230,000. That's not exactly big per se.. :P
Besides, there is a shopping mall with a rather big car park right next to the hotel that charges about half as much as the garage directly under the hotel. It's just a matter of crossing the street vs. having direct lift access. (Which, by the way, is a great thing to have, at least for unloading).
FWIW, one can always take the train. ::)

It migt not be such a big city per se, but it's one of the main stations on the axis Hannover-Berlin.. therefore, quite busy (even with everyday commuters)
I don't mind crossing the road or anything.. it's just that the phrase "you'll find easily a place to park in the street"... nah.. not realistic at all, when you're talking about parking more than 200 cars in one or two days, around a busy train station.
So you HAVE to add parking prices on top of the rest...

Not an option for fursuiters who are also sellers or artists, i'm afraid... (i calculated i'd have at least 5 suitcases to fit all my merchandise, suits and clothing)...

I dont know if this question belongs here but is it possible to book a room at the hotel through the hotels homepage, at the time EF is running without doing it through the EF registration system? I thought EF had booked the whole hotel except those permant residents there were living there?

Hotels that sell their space through travel agencies may have to guarantee a minimum number of rooms to be bookable at any time.

Okay thanks for the answer :)
