I'll second the whole black liquorice thing too - or just say Buckley's, it kinda tastes like that.
Oddity:
Didn't have much of the Jäger I'm afraid, I get too drunk on anything stronger than beer (and German beer is yummy) but I really liked the Jägertea! :)
