And for those who don't have Google Earth ... have a look a the Travel Section of the EF web page. There's an embedded google maps applet which lets you zoom in on the hotel just as closely :)

I already added it to my Google Maps placemarks, so I'm all set anyway! =^^=

Ah, haven't been on the site since our registration was confirmed :-)

Actually, I've fiddled around some more with the Google Maps API (after getting the map on the EF web site to work, which was a royal pain in the arse, especially the polygon for the red highlights) and put up a nice little applet showing some of the infrastructure near the con site at http://husky.dnsalias.org/~doco/ef-hotel1.5/ef-markt.html. Note that this is still somewhat a work in progress, but the most important supermarkets, cash machines and so on are in it already.
