International snack exchange - Stroopwafels

Can this really be an official event next year? Or is the fact that we're bringing in food to the hotel and that it's not really "furry" mean it will always be unofficial?
Regardless, I had a great time trying out all the other snacks, and I had multiple people tell me they didn't like dates, but loved mine, so I'm happy! :D (I was expecting that, though. The dates you can get in Europe and North America aren't picked correctly!) Also, I was surprised that we had a couple fursuits join us in our den of sticky, gooey madness!

Thinking of amount of people that were there, plus those curious who just took a peek in from the door, this event would deserve being official event. Official or not, I hope there is something similar next year :)

I was all prepared to go and had stashed enough American beef jerky in my suitcase for 20 people.
But that suitcase did not arrive with me in Berlin, and so I had no jerky to offer on Wednesday night. :( The suitcase did not arrive until the next day, when I had no choice but to give all of the jerky to Cookie.

I really love this idea! I can bring 'salmiak' powder (NH4Cl) for everyone and then I can eat it all myself :P
