Ok we got an answer from the Hotel:

People who are no residents of the Maritiom Hotel can only enter the pool and spa area if the buy a daily spa ticket at the hotel reception.
Otherwise they are not allowed to enter the pool area.

But regardless, I shall not enter the area.  If I were to appear nude, I would horrify too many people.

Is there some sort of hotel staff member standing there and looking at... what exactly? Room key card? But that's our badge.

Just wondering how they'd go on checking if there's a bunch of furs heading to the swimming pool.

There is a card reader at the door and it will only let you in if you've got a valid room key card. Case closed
