The BNN episode can be viewed online here, we're going to watch now so we don't know what to expect! ;)

WTH is that..
I want to forget what i saw at 1:10..
I'm glad that this is a mix of different reports and that wasn't a part of the furry part (I hope, I don't understand that language..)

Atalon:
A good cut makes anything.

soo no press at all - sorry folks - press at the door step  thats it.
Otherwise you end up at a cut with no sense.

Throw them out through the front door and they will sneak in through the back door, but this time with bad intentions guaranteed...

As soon as I have time I'll write a report a soon what we did and why. In general: we need a certain amount of coverage for various reasons. One is: we are in the middle of the sleepy capital of Saxony-Anhalt. How would a 1300 people event with over 500 costumers not attract attention? If we just shut the doors the imagination of the media will run wild, and you don't want to see the coverage resulting from that. Also, we need a certain amount of coverage to show our business partners that we are not exaggerating and we really run such an event and how it looks like. Also, either we support the reports and have at least a chance to show what we think is important about Eurofurence and the aspects of the fandom it represents, or someone else will run their own parade.

The BNN report was a risk, we knew very well about the station and the format. The previous two seasons were the best I've seen in TV journalism for years, this season seems to have jumped the shark, though. The resulting report, with the exception to the images shown at the very end, is still very well done. Unfortunately, those (poor) furry porn paintings and completely unrelated photos spoil the whole report. Not a disaster for us, but it makes it impossible for us to use this documentary as a showcase — not to mention that a lot of participants of the report feel betrayed due to this and it makes it unlikely that they'll be available for future media coverage. Which is a pity, because they are great ambassadors for the Furry fandom.

James The Dog:
Surely you could still use the report as a showcase, but just edit the bit out where they show the pictures? Admittedly, I can't speak Dutch, so I don't know how much they actually taked about it, but I presume it's only a small amount of the report.

Also, looking through my video, I noticed I did actually film some footage of them actually filming bits of the report:

And they also got a brief bit of me in fursuit (although with the top my head cut of) filming them filming some stuff!

And this is the above bit as seen by my camcorder:

Gero:
Its better to invite them and make them follow our rules, and thus keep a track on what theyre doing, than banning them and letting them sneak in under cover (as they ultimately will do) with bad intentions. As long as we dont have anything to hide (and I am preatty sure we dont) and they dont film in the headless lounge I am happy with having tv teams around. After all positive press brings more congoers and thats a good thing.
