Interesting idea :D
Would be interested in finding out what features etc you planned to cover/mention, happy to assist where possible.

I was intended to cover per application 1) Short history/background 2) Features 3) Intended use (e.g. Krita focuses more on image creation while GIMP has a stronger focus on image manipulation) and 4) Where to find more info, also the plan would be to bring a bunch of USB sticks/portable disk-drives with said applications. Note that since I want to cover more then one application I don't have time for in-depth coverage or (full) demonstrations.

In short I would cover the "high concept" of every application and some information where to get it, where to get help/support and help with setting up/installing.

I was wondering how to offer copies of the software in a quick convenient way - I don't have a wireless hard-drive, but I do have a portable access point and a compact Atom-ION PC which I could configure as a wireless file server, might be a good approach? Would be happy to lend it so you could load up with the other apps too.
I'll include Krita, maybe even a brush pack for it.

If you haven't done so yet ... please submit this event to -> events@eurofurence.org . Thanks :)

That might be an even better solution then a bunch of thumbdrives.
