I know that at every EF, there is a video room showing movies such as Balto, Bambi 2, etc...
I was offering to bring with me three DVDs of the series "Shaun the Sheep", from the Aardman studio (who did Wallace and Gromit).
Would you be interested in showing that series at EF? There are episodes of 6 minutes each.
Thanks!

I think the video room died a horrible, long and drawn-out death and they buried it in the garden under a tree just after last year's con. ;D
-
And Shawn, the sheep has been airing on the EF television channel last year :)

Yep, doco is correct. The Video Room as been removed from the programming, to make room for an extension of the Dealer's Den :)

Oh, ok...
It was just an idea, though...
Just tell me if you want me to take along all the DVD's i have (original ones, no copies).

I guess I'm one of the few that actually watched something in there last time then.

You must have been, I think most simply did not find the time to go there.
There are just so many other things to do, and quite frankly, watching videos at a convention is not on my priority list.

Without actually knowing technology behind all this, would it be possible to broadcast videos to tv sets in each room? To one channel. Then it wouldn't take room and it might be nice to lie in bed in own room, watching Happy Feet if too tired to do anything else :)

In fact, we're already doing this. Although we're not showing movies, but mostly shorts, music videos and original content created by furries for furries.

So what about showing movies during evening hours? Or is the broadcast programme already too full for that?
-
It's not part of the concept. Why should we show stuff that you can buy at wal-mart for five bucks, when we have several days worth of material that is much more original, and much more related to the con and the furry fandom as whole?
Honestly, if you want to see movies alone in your hotel room, you'd be much better of bringing a DVD player. That would even have the advantage of better picture quality, and you could freely choose the time :)

True. I was just wondering if there was room for it, I wasn't sure how full the schedule already was. But if it's already full then by all means, go ahead and show all the stuff. I loved watching the old EF vids last year! :D
