As it is a Chinese language cable TV channel from New York they'd probably even agree with the political subtext.  ;)

I wish someone could make some subtitles or something. Sounds neutral, but as far as I have heard chinese people that doesn't count for much.

Then they translate what he said
Some dress as scary mythological animals and some as cute... i'll translate this by "furballs" xD, but all in all they just seem to have a lot of fun together

That's about it. Won't make subtitles though but you got the idea xD. Just a lot of given facts, no extrapolation. It's actually a very neutral/positive review :)

As Chinese news reports go that wasn't bad at all, nothing negative :) They didn't even take the piss, general interest stories in Chinese news often have very bad puns which were thankfully absent XD
