Title: Con Operation team email dead
Post by: Keidran on 17.06.2009, 16:15:47
Heya,
I got the mail with the Con op Team.
I wanted to get some infos about it so I tried to write a mail asking for it.
operations@eurofurence.org
But the mail wasn't delivered. I tried several email adresses (gmx and versatel) but every time I got a failure notice.
does_not_like_recipient. for GMX and rejected: User unknown in local recipient table for versatel p.p
what can I do?

Please try conops@eurofurence.org. Where did you find the other address, by the way?

It was definately in my email, too.

...
We will send you a more
detailed description of the teams responsibilites and jobs.

If interested, write to: operations@eurofurence.org

We're looking forward to hear from you!  :)
...

A short quote out of the mail.

Sorry! That was a configuration hiccup. My mistake. Both addresses were supposed to work, but "operations" was only configured as an email alias, but not as a valid recipient in OTRS. Things should work as expected now.

Yesterday I unilaterally decided to write a quick email to Hurga, and he worked his magic promptly yesterday, making the "operations@ef" address working with our ticketing system as well. Losses should be minimal, and fully avoided in the future.

Thanks, Hurga!
