After two years of abscence, our good friend Mr. Timothy Albee would like to attend Eurofurence again. However, he is currently not able to afford the plane ticket.
Those of you who have met him at EF10 might remember the great contributions he has made to our community. For those who haven't, here's the link to his webpage:

He is an animator, artist, fursuiter and mentor, and we think it would be great to have him at EF15 again. A plane ticket would cost between600 and 800 USD. Those who would like to help can make a small donation by paypal to

As soon as Tim has gathered enough funds to make the trip, we are going to post an announcement here.
Please keep in mind that this is organized by his friends as a favor, this is not officcial done by Eurofurence.

What happens to money donated if he doesn't raise enough money?
It might also work better if you add something to it, like donate 25euro get the Kaze card deck(worth 10euro), but I guess that is up to him.
I would be nice to have him in Eurofurence of course.

OMG! Really! I'v been Using his Book for my recent Animation at uni! Gurr...I would certainly give him money, i just need to get some myself atm :S If i get enough Commissions i will donate some money as soon as i can.

I'm pretty sure that there will be enough money, so far it looks very good and there is still some time left.
And i'm sorry we don't have the time to organize something like a bonus.
This action is a chance for his friends to bring him to EF, its a donation.
This is based on trust and not getting something in return.
If it works out you get Tim himself, he will host some pannels at EF and this is worth a lot.

Ok, I agree and understand, and it is worth it if he will be at EF.
It is not about getting something in return. The problem is that I feel that any "famous" fur can simply use his status to get donations this way. But I guess everyone will decide for themselves if they want to donate or not.

Believe me, it was not Tims Idea to do this. And he also feels uncomfortable, its not that hes happy with the situation.
Its something _we_ wanted - and we want to invite other Friends to help out too.
