Just an idea. Maybe it would be better if everyone, or at least most, would post their photos and videos in one place to make it easier for everyone to find them. While looking for the photos from the last EF, I found this http://media.furcon.de/Eurofurence/tn and I think it may be just the right place to upload your photos.

Yes, furcon is a very common place to do that and it has tags, comments and quality-voting. :)

I would if someone wouldn't have taken my nickname there and on furbase ;) It gets rather confusing at times, because this is my worldwide nick for over 12 years now and there are 2 or 3 places where someone else took my nick and then they write or talk to me but wanted to talk to the other person....

What`s the problem there? You can open an account as "wild_wolf" "wild-wolf" "wildwolf", ... it is confusing but does
not prevent one to use these sites at all. BTW, that nick is an extremely common one. I`m not surprised at all.

I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many photos to process and am not at home at my 24" LCD display right now to do proper post processing so this may look a bit crummy as I just processed it on my netbook with it's small and not so good display. Taken from the 6th floor balcony. The Ringberg has fantastic views. This was just after the rain as the sun was setting.
I will post some fursuiters and other shots that I think give a taste of the event later. I'm chilling at my parents for tonight trying to stave off post con depression. :)

The thumbnails don't show up for the newer uploads. Last time that happened to me it worked a few hours later and I do hope that this problem will be resolved again. I want to see the pretty pictures ;)

i've got around 3500+ pictures to sort thru^^
gona take a while, especially since i dropped my glasses yesterday and only can work for short periods before becoming to tired in the eyes.
gona take a few days to get new glasses. ah well. i kept them on during the con, and had THE TIME of my life^^
i'm allso going to have most of the photos put up on a FTP, just need to get a few things sorted out first.
and have fun all of you^^

Shivon: i've taken a quick look thru the pictures. and somehow, you or the green husky, are on like a total of 4-5 of them. i'll see later when i take a more serious look at all of them. and see if i spot more. but at this point, sry, not very many :-\

ok, finally mannaged to sort thru and clean up ammong all of the pictures. problem is tho, ther's still 7+gig of material still left.
so, unfortunatly, ther's still gona take a few more days till you all will be able to see them.
and if ther's anyone out there, with experience of putting up gallery webpages, and have the PHP/JAVA for one that's easy to use (and would be willing to help me put it up on my own server).
i'd be realy greatfull for help like that^^
that and all kinds of advices, since that isn't my best area of knowledge :P
and it'd be a lot easier then to try and upload it to someplace else as well.

use an ftp-programm to connet to furhome.net , annonymous.
go to folter upload/EF15
create a folder with your nickname
upload your pictures there.
wait :) pictures will be imported by hand by me.
or use IE and navigate to ftp://furhome.net/upload/EF15/
and PLEASE: do NOT upload a camaradump with blurry pictures and every picture 20 times :)

Eurofurence 15 pictures, sorted by day ;) There are some pictures from the trip to and from Suhl too. Sorry for the lack of quality and blurryness, I took these with my iPhone. Hopefully I'll have a real camera next year
Edit: That's a BSOD at the airport by the way. I saw three of them in total. Not worried, no. Also yes, there was one day when I didn't take a single photo.

going from 1-17, in number of the folders, sorted by days and timelaps.
otherwise it'd be some very heavy going thru on only sorting by the days.

I took ~1600 photos during the con. I cut that down to 128. Even this is slightly too much, IMHO.
You normally don't want to show someone more than 100 photos on one single topic. Otherwise they'll be dead when you are halfway through. ;)

Well, I'm looking for a few particular photos and I will gladly go through all 1972 BluePaw's photos just to see if he was the one who took the photo I'm looking for. Thus, it will be much better for me (and probably some others like me) if everyone upload all of their photos, excluding only those our of focus, blurry ones, of course. Thank you. *hugs*

Angus: hehehe, u'd be supriced on how few pictures there are that looks the same, since i didn't stay at 1 place very long. i've narrowed it down to at most 2 simmilar pictures after eachother, like if the same pose but twisted head enough to make it anoter picture, or 1 with flash and 1 without. but no more then 2. and that's not very many of those pairs ither.
i'm not very stationary if u say it like that^^

Well - as we experienced series of ~10 pictures which look astonishingly similar (sometimes I damn those large buffers), 2 pictures with significantly different poses is quite OK I'd say. Sometimes its hard to decide, which one is better (I even tried with a little vote in IRC - the audience was undecided as well...).
I've not yet really sorted through my ~350 pictures. Not sure if I put some on Furcon at all, seeing that there is very little gained in comparison with other photographers...

anyhow, seems like it'll be a waiting-game between the 2 of them.
