Title: Fursuiting tips and tricks
Post by: Lokosicek on 05.03.2007, 11:09:30
 Hi all,

I have made my own fursuit, but I lack the knowledge to use it proplerly.
Please do you know of any list of tips, what to do? what poses can one
do? I know that each fursuiter has its own unique poses and acts, but
there must be a basics common for all of them. So far I have downloaded
10 Gigs of videos (*waves to BBF and Timduru*) and been studiing them
carefully and It really helped a lot. Even found some tips on other forums
and discussion boards, but that is still not enough Im afraid...  8)

My goal is to really adopt a personality of the fursona and become one
with the fursuit... Its really hard to explain... take look at Dex or Jappo
Dawg or Savoy (list is endless...). They ARE fursuiters, not just humans
in a fursuit (really, it is hard for me to express the meaning properly...).

Thanks for your replyz

Just in Mind...

Dont stay still, except its intended to look like to stay still...

Exaggerate your movement, as bigger your suit as more...
(Except your suit is realy big, then lower your movement...)

Do things wich fits to your suit...

Take care that the suit eyes look to someone you want to look at...

Read your surrounding to get posing ideas...

Give the poeple time to make fotos, but dont freeze...
Only good poses earns to freeze...

As better you know someone, as more naughty you can be to him...

Dont bother poeple...
Dont get botherd by poeple...

Dont scare kids...

Steps are everywhere, so expect them everywhere, have your eyes everywhere, but still looking at the people...

...

to be continued....

I am shure theres a FAQ....

greets

YAY, thanks a lot! Im sure it will help. About an hour ago, I tried to google for some tips, and found (again, after 4 months...) the "fursuit wiki" with quite a lot of hints: http://www.fursuit.org/wiki/doku.php?id=fursuit:performance ...

*dances in joy* Yahooooo...  ;D
