Title: Anybody staying at the InterCity Hotel?
Post by: Ragear on 16.01.2012, 21:09:07
*roar* everybody,

anybody else staying at the InterCity hotel? I booked there, it's reasonably priced, a 200 second stroll from the Maritim, right next to the railway station and the breakfast buffet (included!) feeds your maw nicely for the whole day.

I might consider going there, if I find a roommate. Price is higher than the youth hostel, but it looks pretty nice there :)

Some other furs and me stayed here last year and the year before (and will this year ;)):

It has quite reasonable prices. Unfortunately, they have no English translation of their site.

Pretty sweet.

If I understand the site correctly, you'd have to pay 20€ per person for a 3-bed room?
Breakfast not included?

I consider Intercity as PlanB in case I'm too far down the waiting list. But me not booking it yet.

Yap. 20€ per person sharing a three bed room is correct. Furthermore, there are 3bed rooms, which you can book on your own - paying 35€ per night - and if you find somebody to share later, you can tell the land lady last minute. The price per person will be adjusted.
Another plus: the rooms come in appartements. So 4 to 5 rooms form a separate unit, and share 1-2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Loooads of fun if all rooms of one appartement are booked by furries ;). This year, rooms 7.2 and 7.4 are already booked by furries, so if anybody gets 7.1 and 7.3, appartement parties are possible to happen :)

Breakfast is not included. They offer a really good breakfast buffet at their coffee downstairs (all you can eat for 5€, huge variaty of foods and drinks), but its far to early, they do it from 8am -10am ;). But hey: you got your own kitchen, including cooker, fridge, waterkettle... be independet, save money, get what you really like :D

In that case, if someone books à triple room in that apartment, I would like to be in.

so folks, more than happy to harbour a "No, I'm NOT staying at the InterCity hotel ;)" thread in here, but now back to the topic  ;D thanks. Now that it is the official designated rescue float for burrowless attendees: looking forward to see some furs there.
