Title: DDR at EF18
Post by: Hrs on 13.06.2012, 12:33:31
Hi there !

As always since EF15, I would like to make a DDR panel at EF18, but I only have one pad and
the other person who brought the second pad at previous EF isn't coming this year.
I was wondering if there's someone who owns a DDR metal dance pad (preferably) and who could bring it for EF18 ?
The DDR panel could work with only one pad, but it's less interesting in my opinion.

Just PM me or post here if you can help.

Thanks !

Well I could offer two futuremax fitpro metal pads: http://csimg.koopkeus.nl/srv/NL/29016700231/T/340x340/C/FFFFFF/url/futuremax-fitpro-ddr-metal.jpg

They're metal but the arrow buttons are made of plastic. I would suggest that I bring only one of them and we use your metal pad too. This may look a bit strange but one botton of one pad starts to ... have his own mind >.> But the other one works 100% :)

I haven't planned on bringing them to the EF but DDR with just one dance pad is impossibru. There has to be DDR and it has to have two Pads ;)

I used to have two pads, but one of them died, and I never took the time to fix it (Went to the junkyard).
Well, the only pad I have now is pretty close to your Fitpro, so if you could bring only one of them, that would work !
Just confirm me that you're okay to bring one, then I'll see if it's still possible to register the event... considering EF is in less than 2 months.

Thanks !  :)

No idea about how prone to breaking/dying these boards are,
but with 4 days of contious daylong used.. would it be worth a thought to bring a spare one, just in case ? Even if it's less nice.

Just a thought. :-)

I only have one pad, and i'm not sure that LeTigre could bring two, since these things are really cumbersome. The previous years since EF15, it worked pretty well with only two pad. I had to use my soldering iron sometimes...   ;D

Btw, the DDR even will be held every night from wednesday to friday. (Nothing on saturday because of the Dance)

Might you get into trouble just before EF I could always take one of my foampads along.

Not metal but still good quality, and very nice for fursuiters, as the big paws aren't as handy on the metal feedbackwise : (http://www.futuremax.eu/nl/deluxe-dance-pad-v3-special-fmax-edition-wii-gamecube-ps-ps2-xb-pc-usb.html)

Just let me know in time as taking one doesn't take that much space compared to metal ones in the car.

Honestly, if you don't mind bringing one, that would be cool. It can be useful if one of the metal pad has some issue (like the usual disconnected / broken wire which needs the use of a soldering iron). This way I could fix the prospective issues on metal pads the day after and with no rush.

Yeah just gotta see. Don't really feel like putting them down all day but for those occassions or for fursuiters I wouldn't mind taking it with me at all ^__^

Is this still happening? I've never played DDR before in my life, so I'm probably going to get laughed at, but I'm feeling the need to do a lot of dancing in fursuit this year. 8D

No reason to be afraid. Nobody will laugh at you and there is a level difficulty for every player. From baby till asian pro ;)

So I bet there will also be a level for you :)
