I personally love to cook and write recipes as well as coming up with new, exciting dishes.
Now, I'm sure there's a lot more furs out there that's interested in cooking and such. So how about we gather a bunch of cooking interested furs for a meet up? Either if we go for a dinner/lunch or just meet up over a drink and talk recipes, ideas, techniques and such!
Who's up :D?
-
/me raises a hoof*
I'm one of those who greatly enjoys cooking, aye! I'm even planning on commandeering a kitchen nearby to cook for my mate and some of his friends at least one of the nights. I'll PM you, Stripe. =D

If you need a cook, i'm in.

Cooking? I'm there!
I do quite some cooking as I'm living alone... although I seem to specialise on Penne Amatriciana %)
Although I seem to get along well with recipes, I'm always in the need for inspiration. So I'm looking forward for this event and its distingdished furs! =D
Anyway ... the images here might be inspiring: http://foodporndaily.com/ (http://foodporndaily.com/) (sfw ;))

I suppose we wont be able to use an actual kitchen to cook our dishes.
So we will simply exchange our recipes?
-
Cooking furs? I like my furs raw :)
-
I like to critique food and cook, also. so, count me in!
-
Sounds interesting :) Wish I did some cooking, but laziness and it being cheaper, I still use my dad's services almost every weekend XD But in any case, maybe I'll bring you some recipes from Hungary? Could try to translate a few things.
-
I wish I had time for this. I doubt it though. Can we repeat this at a con where I'm not working? *lol*
-
Everybody just cooking? and who eats all this tasty stuff? maybe I#ll check in to clear the table for you :-)
@Pinky: give us a schedule, but I think as long the con takes place on this planet ... fat chance ...
Ragear

@Ragear *lol* You got the right idea there. I think my schedule is something like every day from morning to night, with the possible exception of Sunday evening. I've run food presentations at ScotiaCon for a few years, I'm really interested in food. But it seems I'll have to miss out on this meet-up.
-
Sorry, can somebody explain me how this is supposed to take place? I mean. what will we do during this panel?

Mmm barbeque bunny.. The best 8)
But in all sense.
Is this a gathering for furs who just enjoy to cook, or furs who are actually planning on becoming cooks in the future?
Will there be actual cooking done at this panel?
And if so, would a fur who just enjoys to eat be allowed to participate?
-
I don't think it's possible to have anything practical going on during the panel because of German laws. And the way I see it, everyone's invited and it will most likely be a free talk about cooking, dishes, recipes etc.

That really sounds like a great idea =3

I think it's nice to keep it open, but in order for it not to descent into general socialising, there should be a proper food theme and cooking or food history or other food-related topics should be at focus. Everyone eats and most people like it.

I've just took a look at the public timetable and I don't see this event included there, which makes me think it's not gonna be anything official. In that case, where and when is this supposed to happen? Seeing as Thursday is the only day when almost all the events start at 14:00, I would recommend having this meeting on that day at 12:00.
-
If nobody actually applied for an entry in the timetable, then you don't have one. One person has to take the lead, otherwise just standing around and chatting about what SOMEONE ELSE possibly COULD do is not gonna work :)
But maybe you want to team up with the guys from the international snack exchange.
