Title: Laser "engraving" at EF
Post by: Dhary Montecore on 12.08.2012, 11:53:36
Hey folks!

At Confuzzled there was someone in the DealersDen who offered to engrave badges and other things by laser. Now the thing is, that I want one black-oxided stainless steel multitool marked with a QR-code and a few words as well as a black-anodized aluminium flashlight-case.

Will there be such offers in this years DealersDen at EF?

Sorry for saying that but so far no one, offering that service, applied for the den this year.

I asked the guys who ran funlaser.co.uk at Confuzzled... they can't make it. What a shame.

Damn. Thank you two for the quick answers. Guess I need to find a cheap service for that in Germany then. :3

I'd suggest asking in your local hackerspace (http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/). E.g. I know that the RaumZeitLabor Mannheim (http://raumzeitlabor.de/) has a 40W CO2 Deluxe Hobby Laser (https://raumzeitlabor.de/wiki/Lasercutter) for their use.

*purrrr*
