Hope I am in the right section for this x3
This Thread is for all your EF 18 Memories and Storys you want to cherish and share!
This EF was my first ever Furry Convention I attended and it was awesome throughout! The first Moment I will always remember is the Fursuit Group-Photo and
the start of the Dance on Thursday. 400+ Suiter in one room starting to dance was just amazing to look at and be part of x3.
My second Story I will allways rember as it completely wrecked me the next day x3.
It was the Room Party in Room 779, that me and my mate Raklor were holding. We just put 3 Flyers around the elevators and the Fursuit Lounge
and never thought that so many people would come and enjoy to party with us! So for everyone who was there with us THANK YOU AND HUGS!
Especially to Room 325, who put that awesome drawing of a wasted Fox on our door! It is now framed and displayed in my home xD
Hope to hear more storys so keep em coming =3

My personal magic moment was the Dead Dog Party :) This is the moment, when all the stress is suddenly gone, and you get this endorphine high when the pain is gone, but your caveman body are is still convinced it will die if it doesn't keep you happy enough to outrun that big bad sabretooth tiger that is still after you :)

My personal best moment of EF18 was during the Dance Contest 'Enter the Arena', the interlude with Django, all other fursuiter-dancers and some people from the public dancing together: the nice song in the background and the joy and happyness all around.. I almost began to cry of touching :_)

For me, the most precious moment of EF 18 actually lasted about 1 1/2 hours...
Watching "The Last Unicorn" side by side with Peter S. Beagle, getting live comment from him, being able to ask questions and to give feedback during the movie was a truly memorable experience for me. I also enjoyed introducing him to the audience after the movie. :)

Best moment was when that kid came running up to me in the lobby when I was in suit and high fived me ^^

I won't forget being trapped in the staircase with Uncle Kage. I was like "I am glad I have this radio.", he was like "No, I'm glad I have you!"
This year, being part of the security team, made me meet and talk to so many nice people - I loved chilling out until morning, having good conversations and fun, and staying awake longer than Codewolf xP
Honestly, Eurofurence 18 was my best convention experience ever.

Best EVER moment...
When Uncle Kage walked up to me, looked at my badge and noticed that I'm from the Netherlands...
"GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGoedemorgen" suddenly, right in my face!
It really cracked me up and I was in suit! :D

1. Wednesday afternoon. First fursuit. First walk. Indescribable!
2. Fursuit parade. Two children watching me. Big eyed, mouths wide open, unsure. After me crouching down and waving, them coming and hugging me. Most charming!
3. Beginning of the pawpet show. Flames on the screen. Pompeii written on it. The very (slightly altered) epic soundfile that I had listened to again and again over the last four weeks starts up. Touching!

Well one of my best memories is one that happened in the leadup to the dealers den opening.
First off was when Alpha_ki opened the door to the dealers den for them to start setting up and being completely stunned that there was already five of us waiting, then not too long after this Codewolf drops by and then a bit later comes back with a cup of tea for me, service in line, awesome.
Just after this a friend of mine called Chibi has gotten me a small beer and because I was thirsty I drink it right away, drinking before midday, classy!
And then...
Uncle Kage appears holding a very large beer, saying that Gideon needed a beer glass for his tip jar but the lady at the bar wouldn't give him just an empty glass, he doesn't drink beer and could anyone help, so I step forward, down the beer in one go and hand it back, saving the day by drinking beer... ^_^

My awesome & memorable memories of EF18 are:
1. Loving the Pompeii Paw pet show, sooo many funny moments
2. The ranting Gryphon & Uncle Kage shows/gatherings/story telling
3. Me being silly in the lobby with a few furries in fursuit XD me out of suit btw.....
4. The longest fursuit walk i've ever been on XD boy....was i pooped!
Has anyone seen me there, met me and remember me doing something funny? XD

- The moment I arrived at Tuesday, where I've seen most of my friends, I've not seen a year before, and all the hugs!
- The moment I realize that EF went to the largest family-meeting I've ever seen
- The moment I met all the guys and girls, I've always seen online, and now seen real live. *The moment, where my heart goes wide open*
- All the nice and funny talkings about nearly everything.
- All the silly and crazy dancing moves ;D (my muscles killed me, 2 days later)
- All the very small nice moments, who touched me
And the last point:
- All these awesome guys (and girl ;) ) who were in the security team. You all were (and are) so really fucking awesome funny guys :D (and girls ;) ) I love you all!

- Seeing and hearing a song I wrote 13 years ago finished, performed on stage by an awesome band. I cried for 10 minutes.
- Fursuiting, for the first time since EF5, so also 13 years ago... so much fun.. that moment when you look into a mirror and it's not you looking back. A dream come true.
This year's EF was nothing short of awesome, particularly the Friday was most probably the best day of my life. When two dreams I dreamt for 13 years came true, all on one single day. I'm still riding on the high of that.

For me, being able to perform a Fursuit dance I was proud to watch. I did my version of Weapon Of Choice and I really enjoyed watching it back on YouTube. Also, I don't like 2 as a comedian, but as an event host, he's pretty awesome.

- Walking alongside the Fursuit Parade, seeing all the happy people, especially in the shopping mall. You could see faces light up left and right as the parade went by.
- Having a drink with some neurologist at the Piano Bar, who was attending some lecture taking place the day after the Dead Dog Party. The hotel checked him in at the late-departure day and told him it "could get a bit noisy", which is somewhat of an understatement. He came there in a grumpy mood since he was forced by his boss to attend the lecture and was really uplifted by... well, everything and danced with the suiters.
- The guy, whose name I forgot :/, who liked my shirt and gave me some glowsticks for the BBD. As I thanked him and walked away, he shouted "Yo, brony, wait!", ran after me and gave me several connectors for the sticks. It made me really happy at the time. Whoever you are, thanks again.
- Footpad (I think? I'm terrible with names, no offense...) buying me a drink at the bar, just because I did not skip in line and directed the waitress towards him when she asked me what I'd like.
- The dances, both of them. Awesome. Weeee!
- Still Alive being played in the piano bar, everyone singing along.
- I forgot to mention Alexander James Adams performing Animals All The Same at the Charity Concert. Really brought me back to the first time I heard this song at a previous EF.

the two little girls who saw me in the bear suit, came to me and asked: "can we take you home with us? Pleeeaaase? (bambi eyes) You'll get 1000 jars of honey everyday!! Pleeaase!!" the sweetness of this scene probably caused severe tooth decay in a radius of 10-15 feet...

-Piano bar with great companies
-Fursuit dance
-Party at C floor
-Party at 779 ;) Thanks guys, it was great.
-Little party in my room
-Swimming pool fun

The absolutely awesome moment, a moment that put me into a state of sheer EF bliss:
At the beginning of the Opening Ceremony, when the doors of the main ballroom opened, and the spotlight went to Cheetah, who was crouching on the chariot, judging whether they would fit through the door. I can't really put my fingers on why, but this was, to me, a Perfect Moment.

My best moment?
When a french friend told me "Hey, i didn't know you were coming, EF was already great, but now that you're here, it's just perfect!"
Also, seeing all those people i was not sure i would ever see again..
Feeling the love from people...
and drawing my first "live" MLP commissions!

The greatest moment at this EF...
On the other day a pouch with a high three-digit number of euros was found and brought to security for high-value lost and found. Gyroplast and I decided to store the pouch in our own hotel room, due to its value.
Two days later one of our security officers came to me and informed me, that one of the artists in the dealersden was missing her pouch with all the money she earned during the convention.
Long story short: After making sure that colour and style of the pouch and the amount of money missing was correct, Gyroplast and I handed over the pouch without a single coin missing, and the artist started to cry. That was a moving moment. :3

Hi! I think that was me, though I meant to give you more. :3 I have to thank Cookie for selling them at a reasonable price so it was easy to buy extra to give out. She is so nice.
For me, EF had a really great atmosphere. All the caringly crafted suiters who braved the warm weather to give others a smile. The friendly furs having a good time even through language barriers. The con felt safe and must have taken a lot of work to turn out as good as it did. So a big thanks to the staff!
I also really enjoyed the concert (are there any good sound recordings?), Pawpets (the puppets were at least as good as Mongrels, fantastic!) and the Big Blue Dance. I had no idea BBF was such an awesome DJ.

my greatest memory of EF?
meeting 2 and Uncle Kage, both the legends Mrs. C and BBF and ofcourse raising the roof in the piano bar ^_^ (and i would happily do that again!)
making alot of new friends, meeting old friends and seeing all the beautiful fursuits!
getting a few art badges and other fun stuff from the dealers den ^^

Awwww. you're welcome.. i have to thank the staff of EF for making an exception and letting me sell them there and then... (it paid my rent this month, i was really desperate..)

Got to hug and photo the ubercute lioness from the dance competition. Now how can some one ever be so cute? Gero is jellous. :-* :'( No, she really needs to win "Cutest fursiut at EF 18 award".
And being in my first ever fursuit parade was tons of fun. Plus the pawpet show was amazing.

Most awesome moments:
- Seeing the "There will be Blood" 10x10m banner in the main hall.
- Seeing the owner of La Piazza group hug a bunch of fursuiter and then singing opera for us! Pure gold.
- Rum tasting with Lupo & friends. ::) Sooo mindblowing.
- Very calm room party at 218.
- Sushi. Srsly, I had sushi 4 times last year, but only once this year. So it was even more special.
- Game Developers Meet & Greet, and some of the great chats I had with people afterwards.
- Big Blue Dance.

- Wearing my new fursuit for the first time after a long wait for it.
- Meeting DarkNatasha and DarkMomma.
- Exploring not one, but two dealers dens.
- Large social space always busy with people.
- Having an empty pool.
- Nearly being bitten by a German police dog... whilst dressed as a police dog.

The whole EF experience was AWESOME! but ofcourse some things stood out.
- Opening ceremony in suit, just sitting on the ground cuz I hate it when suiters sit on the 1th row (cuz no one will be able to see anything anymore)
- BASTOS~!
- Making Bastos' badge (he just got his suit there) and not even wanting money for it, but still got 6,- for it O.o
- Meeting lotsa people i knew online
- Finding a Panda trolly at kaufland (Totally bought it!)
But last but not least:
The panda bubble tea store; I went there in my panda fursuit and just sat infront of the bord, with a panda drinking bubble tea, with my own bubble tea. Suddenlee the owner comes out and went to stand at back at me with his co-worker. Picture has been made!
Stripe-kazama came up to me and told me he'd be right back, cuz he was going to PRINT! the picture.
So when he came back he had that picture in a frame for the owner and he put it in his store! :D So next year im totally gonna stop by again to check if the picture is still there <3

Still I was so happy seeing it on our door, I also framed the trasyh flyers we put up were some people put messages on!

It was my third EF and i must say, the best is that everytime the EF was improving, getting better. And that is the best. :)

For me:
- Spottacus dancing around me near main stage entrance. Even though I was, typically for me, shy and confused of such situation, I really loved it
- Batsuiter hugging me. Since his wings were attached to body, I couldn't put my own arms around him. I was just covered with big bat wing, felt cozy though :)
- The Portal Gun, with the potato :D
- My own character in No Photo -signs, yay! I didn't see those until at EF first time
- Hearing the total charity amount... furries are awesome
