Title: www.eurofurence.org =>> Reg page?!
Post by: Quincy the Raccoon on 14.06.2013, 09:16:42
Each time when I'm visiting www.eurofurence.org it goes directly to the registration page of EF. After some retyping of the http address, I come to the normal page (the one with the beach, you know)

I wiped my cache but the problem persists...

What am I doing wrong here?

That's a pretty good question, because it certainly works for me ... tried it both from home and from my workplace.

If you go to https://www.eurofurence.org it will link you to the reg page.
Check if you use http or https in front of the address.

Otherwise go here (http://www.eurofurence.org/EF19/index.php). Then try http://www.eurofurence.org again.

The https jumps me right to the reg page. If I use www.eurofurence.org it jumps me to the normal con page! (without the http/https)

Thank you!

If you type the address with "https", it should give you certificate and security problems :/

Do you have the https-everywhere browser plugin enabled, perchance?

As useful as it may be, it's known to cause weird problems like this.

Somehow the issue has been fixed. I wiped my entire laptop and the problem is suddenly gone. Don't ask me how this is possible...
