Title: Door Plates in the Overflow Hotel?
Post by: Charlotte on 03.07.2013, 14:01:51
We are staying the first time in the overflow hotel this year.

Are door plates / pictures at the room door allowed / tolerated / expedient there, like in the main hotel?

As far as I know EF attendees are not the only guests at the Overflow Hotel and EF isn't that deeply in contact with the management there. I'd say if you are in doubt ask at the reception whether that would be an issue with them. (If it's not, I'd suggest you try Scotch Magic Tape. It's been used for the Artshow Panels since years and until now it didn't leave any trace when removed, YMMV though.)

I personally doubt it's of much use to pin some banner or pictures to your room door. (I assume you want to advertise that you're at the convention again?) I haven't been at any overflow hotel, but I think people will only stay there for sleep. : )
