Hi all !
my journy to EF this year will start by buss from sweden-örebro, to sthlm Arlanda then the scary Airplane to Berline.
but ill be in Berlin Tegel at 08:05 (in the morning) if the airplane is on time..
So i wonder in anny one else will be at this airport this time a day and can meet up with me?
eather to tacke the cab (taxi) or if anny one drives by with a car, that may be able to get me from this place to Magdeburg and the main Hotel ofc. id love some company. i feel abit lost atm m(

I don't recommend taking a cab. That's 150km, it would be awfully expensive.
Better take the train - the airport has a train station, and the Eurofurence hotel is really close to the station in Magdeburg. So travelling by train is quite comfortable, and much cheaper that taking a cab.

The website is reporting the wrong distance. The search function is apparently only searching within Berlin city limits, and replaces "magdeburg" with whatever place in berlin sounds phonetically most similar :) In this case "Autobahnzubringer Magdeburg" which means "motorway approach road to magdeburg". You can see this if you zoom in on the endpoind "b" on the map.
I can assure you that Madgeburg is NOT 20 kilometers from Berlin-Tegel.

ph okey thanks ^_^ was abit unsure of it too but ill be so early in Berlin Tegel so im trying to find the chepest way to the con :P

To get from Berlin Tegel to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, you can take the 'TXL JetExpressBus' (which departs every 10/15 minutes).
Then to reach Magdeburg, you can take the one of the train of DB BAHN Regional-Express (which departs every hour).
I did it for last two EF with success. :)

Why not join the furry bus? It's for those with early and late arrival, and costs around 15 euros each way.
It's some other people from Sweden on that bus, so why not join in? :)

I land at Tegel at 12:05, we should choose a spot at the airport to have a "Waiting for the buss" con xD

Im at Berlin-Schönefeld 11:10
from experience from other years, the ones going on the bus usually gather up in a pile somewhere. just look for a group of random people with tails, furry shirts, laughing and have lots of bags. :P

usualy outside at the entrance area if nice weather, making the airport personell feel uncomfortable :P
