Title: Inofficial virtual closing ceremonies :)
Post by: Jaryic on 01.09.2014, 22:13:42
Hi Folks, this is Jaryic, Director of the Stage Department.

Since we don't have an official closing ceremony yet, I like to use this space to give credits to some people. :)

First there is my own team.
They are (in alphabetical order):
- Dragi P
- EosFoxx
- Furball
- Isaac
- Kamikaze, my 2nd in command
- Krauti M.
- Luchs
- MafunDi
- Mendra
- Reesa
- Tsanawo
- Ysegrim

They worked long days preparing, setting up and running all the stage events.
I hope you liked the shows and enjoyed the dance setup.

They deserve a big round of (virtual) applause :)

Next up I'd like to give a thanks to the guys from EF-Prime
It was a pleasure to work with you again, especially with all the delays and hickups we had.

No credit list these days without ConOps!
You guys did an AMAZING job! Big thanks for that. Especially when we had to move a lot of stuff on a really short call from the hotel you just made it happen in no time.

And last but not least
I'd like to point out that this year was not only the 20th Eurofurence but also the 10th year we're working together with Barowski AG (http://barowski-ag.de/) They are supplying AV and Stage Equipment to us since EF-11 in Nuernberg. Their boss, Michael Barowski, has become a good friend to our furry family and is a great fan of the PawPetShow.

Thank's, that's all from my side.

This was my first EF but as I've seen, everything went on the most professional level.
So *Standing ovation for Stage Dept and Crew* Thank you :)

May I ask why EF didn't have a official closing ceremony? You guys really deserve an applause or some backscratching here and there.

Basically because our con ends during the night, and there is not really a good time slot in the timetable to fit this in appropriately.

Usually the PPS closing serves as a sort of closing ceremony — staff outside those involved in the PPS are mentioned too :) I'm quite fine with this.
