Hello everybody!
As every year, we are going to produce our pawpetshow backdrops in one big group effort, since we only have one weekend to finish them :) That means, we need all the helpers we can get - tinkerers, painters, artists - if you can use a paint brush, jigsaw or screwdriver, you can help!
Typical jobs we have is: Priming panels with background colors, cutting out shapes, joining backdrop and prop parts, installing reinforcements, cutting out windows and adding door hinges ... there is plenty of stuff do. Our talented lead artists will tell you what exactly you have to do. And if you are an artist yourself, the better, because we also need people who are able to instruct the helpers.
Usually it's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun :) Do you want to volunteer? Just reply to this thread.

Who is organising on-site, i.e. having the list what needs to be done, grouping people and instructing them? (Reesa? Cheetah?)

Looking at all the stuff I have to do myself I'll come on saturday and will decide then whether to stay till sunday or nor.

Okay, so here is the plan for Saturday and Sunday:
We are going to meet at 11h in Hünxe.
- THERE WILL BE BREAKFAST FOR EVERYONE :)
- WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BBQ SATURDAY EVENING :)
If you have tools you can bring (cordless drills, saws, etc...) that would be very helpful :)
The plan for tomorrow (Friday), mostly interesting for everyone who sleeps at my place:
I am going to pick up the rental van roughly at 16:00, and then I am going to go shopping at the home improvement store getting paint, paint rollers, brushes, and so on. Then I am going to go home, and wait for Jaryic to come home from work ... since he is doing IT installation services, it is a bit unpredictable when that will be. During that time, Hurga will come to my place and work on the arcade machine that happens to be in my living room :) As soon as jaryic is available, I am going to drive the van to Mülheim to the EF storage, and we will load EVERYTHING pawpetshow related into the van. Meanwhile hurga will stay at my place so there will someone to open the door while I am away :)

The dogs are okay as long as the obey you. There are some semi-wild cats around our compound and I'd hate them being chased. Else dogs are certainly not an issue.

Thanks for this day, it was tons of fun to work with you and learn to know so many new faces, some I even still remember the names of x) Next year I'll try to help out for both days.

Thank you SO MUCH to all of you! It's absolutely amazing that we finished this huge list of things in just one weekend. The teamwork was incredible, and it was so much fun to work with you all!

Oh by the way... if anyone of the non-pps-staffers who volunteered for the building weekend would like to have a seat reservation, please send me a PM :)
