Title: T-Shirt Sizing Issues
Post by: SouthPaw on 02.09.2016, 00:02:56
Having pretty much gone straight back to work after the con, I've only just got round to trying on my T-Shirt...Or attempting to anyway. I requested the same size I always get (XXL), but have discovered this year's shirts to be a significantly smaller cut than previous years.

Where last year's Fruit of the Loom XXL shirt had a width of 66cm, this year's unbranded one was just 61cm, which is equivalent to XL in Fruit of the Loom's sizing. Had I known this beforehand I would naturally have requested a larger size.

Yeah, we ordered a different brand of shirt because fruit of the loom did not offer the black/grey color combination we wanted. Turns out the new shirts have quite a different cut. Unfortunately they do not tell you that before you order. I had the same problem ... XXL, and while the length is totally okay for my size, the shirt is a more "form fitting" than I expected :)

Same here, with my XL size one... compared to the EF17 shirt (also XL), the new one is 6 cm longer and 6 cm narrower, rendering it too long (already beyond the middle of my thighs, and I'm 177 cm tall, so not even too short) and too narrow (makes my belly very obvious and is uncomfortable to wear).  I dread to think how long the XXL one might be.

In any case, I love the design (and the grey-black base too), but I very literally can't wear the T-shirt I bought :(  I don't know what I can do other than framing it and hanging it on the wall...
