as far as i know there was a big belgian furmeet past weekend.
as far as holland goes. we're really close, more lika a family. there aren't really big events. we just look eachother up from time to time to catch a movie or something, drink a beer....you know.

There was indeed, however, these Belgian furevents are always organised by the french speaking furs of our country in close coöporation with the french furs (actually you can consider the belgian-french-speaking-furs and the french furs as one), so the main language of these events is french. They do however attract other furs too, there was a fur from the states, one from the UK and we even had Kenai from Holland spinning the decks... Flemisch furs are still low by numbers (I guess four or five that I know about, including myself) but we do consider to attract them to future events aswell... to be continued ;)

Sorry Cookie I forgot about that, Brussels is indeed another story in Belgium, and to complete the story; we even have a german part in our country, although no furs are living there as far as I know...

Meeting point:
9h45 central station, on top of the station central big stairway or at 10h00 at "Bowling Crosly" http://www.crosly.be/
Bowling Crosly : 1 bowling game and 1 (maybe 2?) q-zar (laser-tag game), 4€ for 1 q-zar game and 3,50€ per bowling, booking has been made for 25 people.
End around 13h00
After, we'll find a nice snack to eat lunch.
Regrouping at 14h30
Hour of arrival at Heizel (Atomium) : 15h00
Afternoon : Outing at Heizel
End around 17h30

I have made the reservation for the bowling for 35 people; for the bowling and the lasergame, the price will be 10€ ( 2 bowling + shoes + q-zar )
I will by at central station à 9h30 and 10 o'clock at the bowling. Parking is free and easy to find
For lunch; well i haven't any idea, but they are lot of restaurant and bar's
After, two possibily :
Bad weather => Cinema; central place or my home
Good Weather => Hezel at the atonium or the "Parc du cinquentenaire" in center of the city, with easy acces by metro (Merode)

Djem proposes dinner at his place saturday 12 april starting at 17h afternoon, you can come earlier and do some shopping and preparations for the dinner. He also proposes you can stay overnight at his place. If you want to have dinner and/or sleep overnight at his place please contact him. After dinner I guess there will be time for playing some computergames and some time for artist to draw at his place.
Sunday 13 april the furries will gather at the entrance of Oceade to go swim and have fun. Afterwards -if the weather is fine- fursuit walk at the Heizel *keeps his fingers crossed for good weather this time*.

A furmeet at 'Plankendael' zoo (Mechelen-Belgium), gathering at twelve at Mechelen station from we're we will go by boat to the zoo, spend the afternoon there untill closing time and then return to Mechelen-city to eat and do a little walk in the city. Fursuiting is maybe possible in the city (but not intended) but unfortunately not in the zoo (I asked very friendly and although they liked the idea they refused for safety reasons, tails, ears and such is no problem).
Attention; this event might be cancelled in case of bad weather!!!

reason why I disabled all forums to be seen before registering is because we had a terrible problem with bots posting, including members joining that moaned about how they dissagreed with the rules.
So I configured Furdome so they'd be forced to read the rules first and then make up their minds about joining or not joining to make sure no whiners would join :D
Anyway I made a Europe convention section where you can post topics even in dutch as long as you place [Dutch] after your topic name.
But keep in mind that not everyone will understand you, at last meet I actualy saw some furs that only spoke english ;)
