Title: So.. those boxes with the wheels for fursuits. Where can I get one?
Post by: camarofurry on 11.12.2019, 01:59:40
I saw a lot of suiters at EF with special wheeled boxes for there suits.
and I was wondering where you can get one of those as I had to use
to luggage cases for mine, and even then it was super cramped?

Hi,

I am using this: https://www.bauhaus.info/werkzeugkaesten/stanley-aufbewahrungs-transportbox/p/20262491 should be available internationally

Also I've seen that you can buy aluminum dimensional profiles and hardware that allow to construct a framework for a bespoke transort box. Walls are them made od sheet plastic or sheet wood.

If you travel frequently try to check box sizes and airline allowances.

Sicne I see a UK flag for you, try B&Q/Homebase/Wickes etc they have the large 175L wheeled trunks that are quite cheap.

i use this one :

https://www.stanleytools.co.uk/products/detail/Products/STORAGE/Tool+boxes/STANLEY%C2%AE+Mobile+Job+Chest%E2%84%A2+with+Integrated+Lock

the wheels are a bit weak if you go through some airports.
i have mine from 5 years now and i had the wheel broken only twice and always when i came back in italy landing at Bologna BLQ.

But I've replaced them with a stronger bar and wheels.

the bad side is the weight when unloaded that takes a good part of the total weight allowance if you fly.
