Title: Any Dancers?
Post by: karpour on 11.04.2008, 01:11:05
I wondered if anyone is into dancing, and if yes, what styles?
I dance Tecktonik and Melbourne Shuffle, and maybe more until EF.

I will probably be bboying at sometime, if you want to learn something about break dancing, just ask. I don't bite, zombies, vampires and werevolves do.
I could but a small note where and when and do "instructed" session if there's interest. Basically just chilling, having fun and running away from zombies.

Hmm.. Dunno. If I can spare some time I'll have a look :)

E-Work is a very slow moving to the melody, ignoring the beat, interrupted by fast position changes. That'll result in moving like a slow motion video set to fast forward and then stopped again. Definitely impressive at excessive strobe and fog-use.

Speedstep is a style very close to hacken, mostly danced with gabber, hardcore, speedcore and the like. Very fast step sequence but much more impulsive. Hard to describe.

I've got a video for you btw:   http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=4SItPGEsjLQ

;))

If anyone has any break dancing music i would like to dance some new tunes. Getting "bored" to old ones, it can be your own mixes if you dare to share them ^^

I do dance, but I never learned anything realy.

I love to improvise and Michael Jackson is the best music for that. Breakdance would be way to difficult, although I'm curiouse to find out the basics.

well i got super drunk and danced shirtless for 2 years in a row now.
But i need to see if i can find some people that can get me away from that...

That would be a strange reputation  to have.   Ohh yeah he´s that dude who throws off his shirt when he hears music    ::)

ups you guys mean real dancers...  :-[

I like dancing very much, and welcome everyone who wants to dance with me :)

Other then the easy going rave dancing, I mostly dance dirty and jumpstyle right now.
I intend to learn shuffle and its branches :)

I like dancing classical. Waltz, dive, quickstep, chacha, lancier and so on...  :)
Used to do it in my free time, now I almost only do it in school (P.E.) and stuff.

May seem kinda nerdy, but I like it :P never tried anything else when it comes to dancing - I'm not really the type who's having -that- much control of her own body and movements ^^;;

Aww... C'mon... That's gotta count for something xD
And it's not the worst reputation.
At J-Popcon here in Denmark, I'm known as the clumsy, lightheaded and shy girl who likes to share her chocolate-cookies in the girls bathroom... Is that better? xD
Be happy with the dancing-thingy.
(And no, I do not intend to get the same reputation at EF. But let's be realistic, and start by just removing the cookie-part. Not change my personality...)

Rave, techno, usual stuff like that. I love dancing, but there's no way you'll drag me to the dance floor sober. However when I *do* start, I wont stop until the event is over ;)
