What kind of killerphone is that? Range of 3 kilometers in urban environment?! With my phone (DECT standard) I am happy if I can use it in the basement...

They've probably just boosted the effect through the roof. You'll have great reception, but anything smaller than a poodle moving between the phone and the base during a call will get cooked in 5 seconds or less XD

I don't know. it's 900 MHz range and 0.5W output power... but it's out of production, and, probably, out of law in your country...

No, it's just a myth i think.. i used old Nokia, which has 7/14W transmitter on 450 MHz NMT-450 analog cell network and had no problems with heating brains or something else :)
