And I suppose that by now, those who want to come may have already reserved rooms at the Ringberg.

What's the matter with you guys? I thought a fun night at the Ringberg on monday was allready decided Should have checked before I booked the room, I guess.

Well, anyway - My lion and I will be at the Ringberg from Monday to Tuesday after EF. Our personal Dead-dead-dog Party.

It is time to find out who will be traveling to the Ringberg Hotel after Eurofurence.  The gathering will take place on Monday, August 22, starting at approximately 2:00 PM.  If you are going to join us, please send an email to me at ceo@anthrocon.org and tell me so, before July 15.  It would be nice to know how many people will be present for dinner.  Perhaps we can get the Crazy Horse to open a special evening for us, or else we can tell Andre how many currywursts to have available.

Remember, you must make your own hotel reservation.  This is a very informal event so we have no room block.  It is, as we say, "come as you are."  Remember, though, that while this event is not related to Eurofurence, we are still representing the Furry community in the eyes of some of our old friends in Suhl, so we expect everyone to abide by the Eurofurence Standards of Conduct.

So far, fewer than 10 people have replied to me saying that they are going, so there is no sense in trying to plan a dinner.

And to answer your questions:

NO, there is no planning!  You must make your own travel and room arrangements.  Just show up on Monday afternoon after Eurofurence.

(*) The Crazy Horse is opening its doors just for us at 1730 that evening.  It's a little early for dinner, but we want to have lots of time in the evening at the Ringberg's bar to...socialize.  The folks at the Crazy Horse never got to see any fursuits, so if you want to bring yours along (maybe for a quick trip down before the main dinner), I think they'd love it.

(*) Our guest of honor, Jim Martin, will be joining us at the Ringberg.  He heard so many good things about it that he wanted to go, too.

THANK you I was just about to call the Crazy Horse myself, but I had no idea how many people would actually be joining us. I'm looking very much forward to.... No wait. ... I'll be very happy to postpone the end of Eurofurence by spending one more day with as many nice people as possible at a lovely place that I have very fond memories of.

Fursuit: check IF I'll still be able to wear it after the Dead Dog Party, that is...

Driving up to the Ringberg Hotel when being all tired and with "Hans Zimmer - Leaving Wallbrook/On the Road" playing on the radio was something that felt more like a dream then reality. So yeah, it was completely worth the trip!
