Roommate versus extended stay
« on: 15.01.2011, 07:05:16 »

Question: Is it necessary for roommates to stay the same number of days? For example: would there be a problem if I've selected early arrival and late departure, and my roommate hasn't?

If your roommate arrives on the early arrival day (16th), and leaves on the late departure day (22nd), they are required to have them selected and paid for. If they don't have them booked, they're not allowed to spend the extra nights in the hotel, just like they wouldn't be allowed to spend the 23rd - 24th night in the hotel if they haven't paid for it.

However, if your roommate isn't coming until the 17th, and leaves on the 21st (duration of the convention), I don't think there's going to be a problem. Just means you'll be alone in your room for the 16th and 22nd :) Atleast I can't seem to find anything saying otherwise.. Not from the RoC, or from the Terms and Conditions. I've heard stories of people being alone in their room for the early arrival/late departure-days, but these date back to Ringberg.
