One Day ticket?
« on: 14.08.2013, 13:29:05 »

A friend of me who has unfortunately not the chance to stay the whole con, would have only one day time to visit at the wednesday.
My question is if there is a way for him to buy a one day ticket or something similiar for the wednesday?

There isn't. It's either the whole con or not at all.

However, as far as I know, since the hotel lobby is public, he could come, as long as he stays in the lobby (That means, no going to visit your hotel room, no going into function rooms).

Edit: Oh and I believe that the lobby closes to the public at some point during the evening/night, but I'm not sure when.

The hotel (sleeping) rooms, and all social interactions planned within, are not part of the Eurofurence Convention. We merely provide the booking for them, and ask all attendees to abide the hotel policies, especially so that the convention as a whole is kept in good memories also from the hotel staff. So sure you're allowed to invite people without EF badge to visit your room. They may not, however, sleep there (or anywhere else inside the hotel) during the night, which is called "ghosting" and forbidden.
As far as I'm informed, the Piano Bar and hotel restaurant is also 'public area' during their normal opening times.

The question about day tickets you should email to reg@eurofurence.org

Ah yes, Zefiro is right. I wasn't quite sure if the same rules that applies to registered attendees who were staying in the overflow hotel, also applied to non-attendees. But it only makes sense that the same rules apply.

How much would a day-card cost?
