Two suiters need a lil carry.
« on: 19.07.2014, 19:47:47 »

Hi everyone!

Me and my friend need a ride from the Berlin HBF train station to the Estrel hotel.
We will have a lot of heavy bags, so i fear if we use taxi they will ask for some extra money.
And then, this small travel will cost too much. Well. .  and i doesnt really have too much faith in taxi services.

Of course we pay for the fuel, or plus some extra cash for the truble.
We arrive at 20. 9:10 at morning. For more details you can connect with me in e-mail: devineweirdo@gmail.com

Thanks for any answer and help!

Well sorry, i live in a small country, and we have only one station for international trains. :3
Anyway my ticket says its Berlin HBF, i hope its more accurate. I edited the topic so maybe now its more understandable.

Thank you!

Will you be able to carry the luggage to a bus stop? If yes:

Quote
Berlin Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof)
Take the M41 bus line until you reach the "Ziegrastraße" stop.
Public transport journey duration: roughly 40 minutes

Chances are your train will stop at Südkreuz, you're way better off getting off there and taking the S 42 to Sonnenallee.  It's not too far away.

De mivel látom magyar vagy: Gondolom Eurocityvel vagy Euronighttal érkezel, ne menj be a Hauptbahnhofig, hanem szállj le a Südkreuznál és ott szállj át az S 42-es hévre, ami pár megálló múlva letesz a Sonnenallee-nál.

I dont know how it works in Germany, but in my country if you are lucky you have to just pay just some extra cash for the heavy or to many luggage, if not you cant use the bus becaouse the driver dont let you up.
I fear what if i just stand there with my stuff and im unable to get on the bus.

I never had that problem with anything that looks like normal luggage. Bags and suitcases of all sizes are usually okay.
The only time they ever asked for an extra fee (the price of a kid's ticket) was when I was carrying a table in the tram :D.

In my experience in Budapest at least... nobody gives a hoot about your luggage on the buses.

Anyway, in most places it should be okay to carry a luggage or two.
