The name of a certain hotel chain

Marriot

Okay, all lines have some variant of the hotel name that starts with an "M" and ends on "arriot".
And I've written this post with lynx on something I deem a freshly updated machine in Germany (KDG), and I seem the same behaviour with Firefox on a different machine (but SOCKS/SSH tunneled to the first one), and the android browser using the WIFI of a US M-you-know-which-hotel Guest WIFI, so I'm almost sure this is not on my side.

Weird.

Any other words we are not allowed to use in this forum?

Cheetah:
*LOL*

For some reason that word was on the censored word list. I honestly have *NO* idea why :) It must have been on there for years. It's removed now. There's not really any reason for it to be a censored word :)

Tekumseh:
I *guess* that some years ago too many people wrote Marriott instead of Maritim and someone got bored correcting them again and again... or Marriott-people didn't want to be connected to us strange fuzzy guys and threatened the board with some take-down notes or whatever *g*

It takes a true geek to write a forum post you cannot understand until you read the follow-ups written by less geeky types :)

Well, the initial post made more sense when the rule that replaced "Marriott" with "Banana Fruitcake" was still in place ... :) Now that it's gone, the meaning's somewhat lost :)
