Is it just me or is this rule new? I was wondering why this rule appeared, as I couldn't find it in de EF20 RoC and I remember the hotel buzzing with doggies and other animals, but apparently that's a no-go from now on?

I know many of my friends can no longer attend now because of this :(

Yes, this rule is new this year; bringing animals will not be allowed any longer to prevent safety and hygiene related incidents.

Then again, there were only between ten or fifteen dogs present last year out of an attendance of 2,000+ people.

As the start page of the registration system states, the hotel policy has changed, indeed. We recommend that dog owners find a dog sitter or a boarding kennel for their pet during Eurofurence.
