In loving memory of Grandpa Kage
« on: 27.01.2016, 11:42:41 »

With great sadness, we have received the news that Samuel Conway Sr. ("Grandpa Kage") has passed away on January 25th, 2016. We have not only lost a a well known regular visitor, but also a good friend. To honour this friendship and to keep the memories alive, we have dug through our archives and present to you one of the most heartwarming moments that we all remember very fondly - the little surprise we had prepared for Sam and WIlma's golden wedding anniversary at Eurofurence 12.

Aww, that day.. I remember the dance very well. It was such an amazing, heartwarming moment to see them - and all of us - celebrating their anniversary, their love. The recording of that special moment is truly a good way to say goodbye. It's a recording not just of some dance but of their wedding and all the memories they shared since then and I hope it will help his family as well to allay grief a bit.

Rest in Piece.
