Sorry, I'm just a BIG FAN out of those bands :x

John Kricfalusi would be an awesome guest, if he comes to Europe. He could teach local artists a lesson or two.

Do you have a video where they do that? They've done quite psychedelic stuff but I haven't seen a video of this yet.

How about Steve Purcell? *bg* Sam and Max pass as Anthros. ^__^   --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Purcell

Well, I don't know how realistic any of these are, but as I am at it... Juanjo Guarnido? --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juanjo_Guarnido

We actually have tried contacting Juanjo Guarnido last year. The nice lady at Dargaud swears she has forwarded all of our letters, but we never got an answer back. I guess that means "no".

What about David Hopkins?

His 'Rework the Dead' series is the only major piece of furry horror that I can think of.

Wookiee? ;D

The Werewolf could have been a choice too, but he already came last year... as a visitor! :o

But really, the one I consider as a must have guest is...

Gene Catlow!!  http://www.genecatlow.com ;D

If you have no clue why, start reading the comic.  From strip 1.  It's about... furries! ;D  Just be patient, as there are a lot of strips.

For being a lot in french comics conventions, I know for sure that's someone who is pretty hard to find. He's not often in convention even here, and is probably not able to reply himself to all people who are asking him to be a guest in their convention here or there. There's something like 30 comics conventions for next month here, and every one of them should have ask him to come too ;)

Why does the guest of honour "have" to be a non-furry who simply has commercial success?  Let's call one of the Disney family then!

Please, grow up!  Such moves have already had negative impact on our community spirit.  How do you think all the drama started? :o

You mean, this? . (< - point) ;D

OK, I'll explain.  We have no obligation to give recognition to random celebrities just because they happen to have something that interests us.  Specifically with this case, the author of Blacksad apparently... at the end of the comic, there is a phrase that indicates detest towards animals.  I bet he'd freak out in a furry gathering!
