Air Berlin bankrupt but continues!
« on: 15.08.2017, 20:03:48 »

Hi Folks,

anybody travelling by Air Berlin? They've filed for bankrupty today but plan on consolidating with a federal grant and continuing on a regular schedule.
Please check with your travel agent or Air Berlin directly for flight schedules.

And they're completely dead :C  Taking with them all my points as topbonus of course was removed from oneworld too, so nothing I can do about that either.  Oh well.

I heard that Eurowings might pick up the remains as far as providing some flights previously done by AirBerlin goes...

Lufthansa/Eurowings and Easyjet are in the process of taking over most connections from Air Berlin, indeed.
