Hotel allows up to 4 people per room
« on: 01.02.2008, 16:39:43 »

Hi everyone!

This year's demand for hotel beds has gone way over the maximal "nominal" number of beds the Ringberg Hotel can provide. That means, a significant number of registrations are currently on a waiting list. However, we have some good news for you:

  • The Ringberg Hotel has agreed to allow up to 4 people per room!
  • It is both allowed to share beds or place ONE extra bed in the room.
  • If you are on the waiting list, joining a double room as a third or fourth person will immediately get you a space without further waiting.
  • If you have already paid for a bed in a double room, joining another room as a third or fourth person will free up your bed for the next person on the waiting list.

Unfortunately there's not enough space for two extra beds, so the only way to get 4 persons into the room is for at least one person to share a bed with another. Also, the per-person room fee stays the same as in a double room, which technically means you'll get less space for your money if a third person joins your room.

This is why we will only put a third or fourth person in a room if it is specifically requested by ALL persons in that room, making absolutely sure that everyone is okay with the conditions. If you are interested, we need individual emails from EVERYONE who is supposed to join as a 3 or 4 person room. You will not be able to book it through the registration system.

Interested? Then here's what you need to do:

  • One person writes an email to "reg@eurofurence.org" containing the following information:
    • Nicknames or Registration Numbers of everyone who is supposed to sleep in the room
    • Information if they need an extra bed or if they're all sharing

  • All other persons in that room also write an email to "reg@eurofurence.org" stating
    • Yes, I want to be in a room with the others
    • Yes, I agree with the terms

Since this is a manual process that our registration system can't handle because of the complexity of options, please understand that processing your request might take some time. We are sorry for any delays that might arise. Thank you!
