That depends if you eat in the hotel restaurant or at Mc Donalds.

- Jinmailang stewed beef ramen:  € 0.45
- Bag of crisps, house brand: € 0.69
- Brunch at the hotel restaurant: € 12
- Ribeye steak and a beer at the steakhouse down the hill: € 28.50
- Bottle of Dom Perignon, at the bar: € 120.

That specific enough?  ::)

If I remember correctly the brunch and dinner vouchers were €15 each last year.

15€ for me as well ... but maybe Doco negotiated special conditions. ;)

Oh yes, the cheeseburgers. Those were so yummy! Pity there wasn't anything else similar though. Any info on whether there'll be something like that this year (i.e. a bar with food)?

I can't see any reason why they shouldn't keep it up...

No, but I'm wondering if they'll have more than just megaburgers and chips this time. :P

They also had quite inexpensive hot dogs and sandwiches at the "improvised" bar last year.

as others said it was about €15 for the buffet vouchers last year, say €3-4 for the huuuuuuuuuuge burgers at the bar.

The rooms do come with a mini fridge though - last year due to lack of cash we bought some bread, ham, cheese and butter from the local Lidl to get us going through the day so we only had to buy food at the hotel once a day.

That's an idea... I never left the hotel at all last year. Where is that Lidl?

Follow the road down the hill from the hotel, as if travelling to the centre of Suhl. If you can't see the Lidl sign on the way down, you should think twice about your eyesight for driving :P

Failing that, at the first crossroads/trafficlights down the hill from the hotel (before the Lidl), there is a REWE (sp?) on the left hand side.

As well as the Brunch option, there was a Breakfast buffet which was cheaper (if memory serves, it was €7 for Thursday to Saturday, and €11 for Sunday), but did mean waking up at a sensible hour. ;)

Cheers,
