Wikipedia:

I'd say that's common knowledge, especially after the recent events around that east german lotto company.

So it dosn't depent on the amount of money, hm... well, and I guess the eurofurence doesn't count as a private, closed round anymore, hm? Or does it?  Grin

But - if we only play for valueless chips, it should't be a matter, right? If no *real* money is involved...

Well, to end this part of the discussion: No, gambiling with real money is not our style. If there will be any kind of actual casino games (planning hasn't gone to this level of details yet), then there will not be any real money involved.

It wasn't for me, and I suppose it might not be for folks who're not from Germany, either.

Also, which lotto company?

@ Cheetah:

Thank you very much for the calm and well thought-through answer. I do mean this. :>

I am taking the chance this board offers - to speal my mind - very serious and when people can explain to with convincing arguments, why a certain topic should not be possible, than that's fine. Although I think, due to Halloween having been past recently, once could have managed something. Many people do hoard all their Halloween deco and if you pick out all the pumpkins, you might as well creatre a nice deco for a horror themed con. But eh... ^^

Casino... that reminds me heavily of Casino Royale and CSI Las Vegas. *snickers* Paff Con, go! XD
