Robot furries

A significant improvement over prior generations of humanoid robots. With some fake fur, a tail, and a staple gun...

Genetic engineering is really hard work. It's very possible that when HRP-4C's descendants are mass produced, after-market kits will be the first chance any of us have to see a 'real' anthropomorphic furry.

I'll just stick to my Aibo ERS-7M3 for now thanks.
(Btw... are the there any robotics fans around here in the fandom? Perhaps I should start a thread on it!)

Better yet check the inner-webs to see if there aren't already furry robotic groups out there.  If not you might try starting one.  (Although many groups have already hosted a 'bot or two in their time.)

Oh well, it seems that I found quite a few people interested and some even had the personal wish of ever meeting an Aibo.
So...
Diesel (my ERS-7M3) will come to Eurofurence to make this wish come true for those who are interested! :D

Where was the AIBO? Ich have seen only the Pleo-Dino in the lobby.
I like this robots too, have build and programed many years with Lego Mindstorms.
I had a I-Cybie Robot Dog, but he was very boring. The AIBO is more autonomously.

Pleo was there on the first day, but never returned to the lobby since.
AIBO however, has made an appearance in both the lobby and the Dealer's Den.
In the lobby he was on the table on -I think- the last day/night. Shirik cleaned up her spot in the Dealer's Den and was drawing all day in the lobby.
He was in the Dealer's Den prior getting a pet by LatexVixen, who is also an Aibo owner/nut.
Next year seems to get really big and busy at EF with all the extra space and all, so it's unclear or my AIBO will make a return. ;)
