Hello everybody!
The new year is approaching, and so is the opening of EF registration
We're still quite confident we'll open around the first or second weekend in January, but because of some necessary code changes, our programmers are still working like busy bees to get everything up, so I can't say a definite date yet. But I promise we'll give you all a notice one week ahead of time. What I CAN announce, though, is the new pricing scheme for 2011, accepted payment methods, and some interesting special offers. But first, the pricing ... and you'll see there are no big changes since last year:

+10 € The "extra day" option extends your stay to one day before and/or one day after the convention. The "extra day" option is per extra day, per person. Not available on any other days then mentioned above.Extras:- Sponsor Upgrade
+60 €- Super Sponsor Upgrade
+120 €- Dog Permit
+50.00 €Sponsor and Supersponsor are mutually exclusive. Sponsors get a free T-Shirt, honorable mention in the con book, souvenirs, more benefits t.b.a. Supersponsors get reserved seats at main stage, access to exclusive events, and more benefits t.b.a. The dog permit is for the entire stay, and allows for maximum one dog per hotel room.Payment MethodsWe got into a rather uncomfortable situation when paypal suddenly froze our balance in mid-registration because of a change in their terms-of-service that no longer allowed pre-paid event tickets to be billed through them. Attendees from the Euro Currency Zone could still wire money, but everyone from outside the €-Zone was pretty much effed. But we've got good news! We've finally found a payment processor to team up with, and so for the first time we'll finally be able to take
VISA and
Mastercard. The old method of wiring money directly to our account via SEPA and SWIFT will of course remain in place as the cheapest option for most europeans.
Train TicketsThrough our business relationship with the Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg and their partnership with Deutsche Bahn, we'll be able to offer discounted tickets to Eurofurence attendees! The offer is good for all connections starting anywhere within Germany with destination Magdeburg (and the corresponding return trip) within a two-week timeframe around the convention:
- First Class:
159€ (Round Trip, 1 Person)
- Second Class:
99€ (Round Trip, 1 Person)
We'll give out instructions how to book these tarrifs within the payment confirmation email.
