Same happened to me last year.

Here ist the ultimate HowTo to get rid of this problem  :)

* Remove the pillows and blankets from the bed
* Remove the mattrasses
* Rotate the bed frames for 90°
* Bond the stubs under the beds togeter with something like large wire straps
* Put back the matrasses in normal orientation (so that they're 90° to the bed frames)
* Put back the pillows and blankets
* Have a great convention without moving beds!
* IMPORTANT: Before you'll check out the hotel, undo all your changes!
Don't forget to bring a wire cutter to the convention if you plan to use wire straps!
With this method, i had a great convention, sharing the double bed with my wife, without moving beds.

Huskyboy:
yeah i was thinking to buy Wirestraps last EF, but this time i bring them from home

its so anoying, you fall to bed late in the morning and BAM you smack the ground...

Same happened to me too, after an exhausting day, collapsing between the beds (accidentaly), and then you feel like you have been sucked slowly into the earth's butthole XD

Dhary Montecore:
If you're going for Skyhoofs suggestion, please make sure that you do not damage the beds! e.g. by scratching the wood while cutting the cableties afterwards or by causing pressure-marks by using too small straps.

A leather-belt or the like might be a better alternative. :3
