I don't use any browser-internal password storage (to unsecure), so that couldn't be it.
On the site itself it is stated that the current password is needed to make changes to the account (for security reasons).

You're the first and only one to report this problem. Possibilities are either that your password is not what you think it is, or that SOMETHING is wrong with your browser.
I could reset your password and we could try if that helps. Other than that, I'm at a loss what the problem might be ...
