*snip*

How do I get this event approved? Is there some form to fill out for these kind of things?

Simply talk to our event manager to get it scheduled and get the practicalities on track. I believe the person you're looking for is Riffuchs.

Riffuchs does not reply to me either via PM nor per Email. I used the info of his page in the forum.
Or are there official addresses? I looked but I have not seen anything.

He's currently very busy running another con taking place this weekend. I suggest you give it a week and see :)

I'm sure he'll reply to you as soon as he can. You gotta remember we're all unpaid volunteers that have full time jobs and lives on the side of doing this. So don't worry, he's probably just really busy right now  :)

Thanks for giving the hint, Pinky. : ) A small corrction: The con is from from next Thursday to Sunday. As I said in another thread, give us some days afterwards to relax (so more about two weeks). Nothing will be forgotten. : )

I am going to call this one off. It is getting too close to the convention and I plan to do some other things anyway. I don't want to do things in a hurry.

I'll just get a few bottle for friends and maybe for the auction (if one can auction something like that).

I am going to call this one off.

Did you write an e-mail or PM to Riffuchs? I saw a note about the Wine Tasting in the EF wiki, but it has no further details there yet.

I have sent an email and a PM, but have never gotten a reply. And it has been 2 months since my first inquiry.

Re: Panel - Wine sampling - Need Wine, Expert, Co-Panelist?

I have gotten a reply now and I know now how to register. But I still am nervous about this since I have never held a panel before.

1) So, first I'd like to ask if somebody would be willing to help me with this? I'd be a lot less nervous if I knew I was not standing alone in the room. Preferably someone that actually drinks wine and maybe has done a panel?

2) Are there any people that would like to bring wine as well? It would be nice to have a wider selection from all over the world.

3) Does anyone know how I can contact Kage? I dunno if he remembers me talking to him last year.

4) I still need an expert on red wine. Well need is a strong word... it would be nice.

(Also how much time do I have before I have to give the definite go for this?)

I'm getting more and more tempted to see if there's a bottle of my mother's home made wine left somewhere and bring it with me should I find it. ^^

Thanks for the offer.

Is there an autoblock from yahoo.com e-mails? I haven't gotten a reply from the event org yet and the room reservation complained about something like that.

If you refer to sending mails to eurofurence.org, as far as I know, yes, Yahoo seems to generate such amounts of Spam that blocking the whole Yahoo domain was the only option for the admins. The advise would be to use another email address, e.g. gmail, for sending your mail.
